Insurance coverage can be complicated when it comes to therapy services for children. Coverage can be restricted by diagnosis, age, and in some cases even expected prognosis. Our network status with insurance carriers changes frequently, so please call us. We will not only let you know if we are in-network with your insurance carrier, but we will also verify your benefits based on your child’s age and diagnosis. We never want children to receive an evaluation or begin services in our practice unless we have fully explained your anticipated insurance coverage and expected out-of- pocket costs. We also want to be sure that we have all pertinent prior authorizations in place before we schedule an evaluation in order to limit the potential for claim denials with your insurance carrier.
