Physical therapists use a variety of assessment and treatment techniques in order to identify not only areas of developmental concern, but also capitalize upon a child’s strengths in order to improve gross motor skills, functional mobility, strength, flexibility, coordination, balance, proprioceptive awareness, muscular and cardio-vascular endurance, and agility. Many of our physical therapists are NDT certified, having undergone intensive training for the treatment of children with cerebral palsy and similar neuromuscular disorders. Our physical therapists specialize in the treatment of children with developmental disabilities from ages birth to twenty-one, and will work with you and your family to help your child exceed expectations at home, at school, and in our community.
