Helping our community in a special way
April 01, 2020

Hospitals around the country are facing shortages of personal protective equipment, including masks.  Many hospitals are welcoming home-made cotton masks, so why not get our clients involved in any way we can?  Using a rotary cutting mat and wheel, Blaire, with the assistance of her occupational therapist Ali Mahony,  was able to cut the fabric to create 14 face masks which will be sewn and assembled later in the week by volunteers.

What a beautiful and functional treatment session that helped Blaire meet much more than her occupational therapy goals…Blaire also helped meet the needs of our community!
